Calypso had decided to wear the new dress she had bought recently. It had originally been slotted to be worn for the party she was planning to throw at the country home, so long as Blaise said it was okay for Theo. She never wanted Theo feeling out of place in his own home. She knew she could always ward that entire wing so that Theo would feel safe but she never wanted him to be worried about coming out of his area. She worried about her adopted brother, which was what she had started to think of him as. Though there was a little too much going on inside her head currently to be able to really focus on Theo like she ought to. There was a war going on inside of the petite woman, she had realized with far too much clarity the night before that she didn’t love her girlfriend. It was not only the longest relationship she had ever been in, it was also her first relationship with someone of the preferred sex. Calypso though had no idea where to go from there though, she knew she cared about Ginny and was attracted to her. The fact that she didn’t love her still was worrisome for Calypso. She was positive that she was supposed to feel that already, or at least a little part of it. Shouldn’t she?
It was with her head swimming that she had apparated into Astoria’s living room. The outside didn’t match the inner turmoil that was going on. Callie looked put together with her black heels, red lips, and perfectly curled dark locks. She had taken extra time while getting ready to be sure that it was all perfect. While she typically wore magical lipstick that wouldn’t smudge when going out with friends, mostly because she only liked muggle lipstick when kissing someone and marking them as her own, she had opted to wear muggle lipstick tonight. She liked the way it felt when she rolled her lips together, making that soft ‘pop’ sound when she smacked them. A nervous habit from her childhood that Oya had broke her of, for the most part. It only seemed to show itself when she was too consumed in things going on around her.
“I’m here!” Callie called out as soon as her feet were under herself. She slipped out of her heels, trying to be polite about Astoria’s floors. Padding barefoot towards the doorway, she was listening to hear where Astoria was. She was planning to be the annoying little playful pest she was and apparate to the sound of the other woman’s voice. Astoria was probably one of the few that had been on the receiving end of Callie’s drive-by apparting. She had picked up the bad habit just after 17, where she would grab Blaise when he walked by and apparate them to wherever it was she wanted him to be able to get time alone. She had only started doing it again recently because Blaise had been so consumed with work, Kermit, and Theo, that Callie had felt a little neglected. Astoria just lucked out today though, Callie had taken her shoes off to be polite so the chances of the other woman just grabbing her when she found her and leaving were slim.
