Tracey sent him a smile at his apology and nodded in agreement - it had gotten serious very quickly. But when he held her hand her smile became... more genuine, fuller, somehow. She just watched their hands together as he spoke. She shook her head quickly, maybe too quickly, maybe she was embarrassing herself but before she could think she reached out and touched his cheek, saying softly, "You never bother me; I never want you to go," she didn't where the bravery had come from, but maybe his apology, his touch had shaken something loose with her.
