Blaise didn't find any of it weird, but he was aware other people did. So he usually left it up to the person to figure out what they could handle themselves. But he enjoyed the attention and so appreciated it when people were willing.
He took the time to drain the entire glass of water before he did anything else.
"Not really," he said. "But I suppose I will anyway." The play, the break, had helped. He wasn't as on edge as he had been. He was still feeling sharp, though, frustrated, angry, but it was at more if a remove now. Not quite as intense.
"Kermit left," he said after he had a handful of fruit. He knew she'd not been particularly fond of his boyfriend and he'd never pushed the issue. "The other morning, apparently while I was asleep, he packed all his things and the animals and left."
