Astoria wasn't surprised in the least when Blaise came padding out still in his panther form. She'd expected it, if she were being honest, and she didn't mind in the least giving him some attention in this form as well. Her hands stroked over the soft smooth fur, giving special attention to the spots she knew he liked best - just behind the ears, the tip of his back just before his tail, and the front of his neck. If she didn't know he wasn't actually an animal, she might have even leaned down and given him full snuggles and kisses. She couldn't help but think that was weird, even after all the times they'd played together in their animagus forms.
Once he'd shifted back, she offered him a glass of water first, quiet for a long moment as she started picking at the bowl of mixed fruit she'd got out from her bag. She always craved the sweet, natural sugars after this sort of play.
"Do you want to talk about it?" she probed gently, softly. She really wanted to know what was going on, but she would never push him if it was something he didn't want to -or couldn't- talk about. She would just be there for him, however he needed.
