RP: Leaving
Who: Kermit
When: Sunday morning, 5am, 2nd April
Where: Zabini house and Kermit's flat
What: Kermit's leaving
Warnings: Sadness
It hadn't been easy for Kermit, new at relationships and love, to figure out exactly what the problem was. His mam had set him off originally which had led to his tears in the garden. And rather than comforting him, Blaise had stared at him like he'd suddenly turned into the frog of his namesake. And that hadn't been a problem in itself, not really, but the thing was that Kermit knew from experience that Blaise was good to people when they were upset.
And then on Friday, he'd made time for yet another person who wasn't Kermit and he didn't begrudge him his friends, of course not, and he didn't read it as Blaise cheating on him because he'd never seemed like that kind of man. It was exactly as it seemed at face value in his mind, it was two friends going out for a meal or a show or whatever it was that they'd planned. And it was just another time that Blaise had put someone else before him. Like he always did.
In their relationship, it had been Kermit who had started it all. And he couldn't ignore it no matter how often he told himself he was sure that Blaise did love him. He was fairly sure that if he weren't at the house all the time, Blaise wouldn't even contact him.
Packing up his things, such as they were, wasn't a test. He wasn't going to make a fuss about things. He would just leave. Because this sadness swelling in his chest and making tears roll down his cheeks was more than he could stand and he really didn't think it was worth feeling like this anymore. It wasn't worth feeling as though he were nothing more than an afterthought where everything else came before him every time.
He'd not planned this. He had just woken early for practice and, as he'd been getting ready, had come to the realisation of exactly what the problem was. The things he'd had in this house to live with filled three bags. He shouldered them, then went to find Marmalade and Luca. He'd already decided not to leave a note, and that was mainly because he doubted he'd be missed here. Of everyone, the ones who would notice him gone were Theo and Callie and that was saying something.
With his things and his pets, he left the house and hailed a taxi home.
