Tim plopped down by the fire immediately, budging closer to it when he was sure that Terry wasn’t quite looking at him too closely to tell him off. He glanced up when he heard movement and saw that it was the new keeper stripping down to absolutely nothing, and he may have been a dog in that moment, but he was only human. Well, sort of. He couldn’t move for a moment, eyes almost comically wide, because right now, he wasn’t in the role of the mentor, wasn’t making sure that Terry was safe in his leathers or anything similar and this time, he simply looked at the other man with comically wide eyes until he was picked up and put in the lovely hot bath.
Legs working overtime, he paddled about, swimming in circles that required far more energy than anyone had a right to, but in Tim’s defence here, if he didn’t move, if he didn’t keep paddling and swimming about, then he’d sink and that would end in being a bit dead, and he didn’t fancy that much, to be quite honest. Not when Terry had decided to show him how he looked naked. Inadvertently, mind, but he couldn’t help but remember even in this form those few choice words that Terry had spoken when they’d first met.
