RP: Is good, no? Who: Gabriel, Tracey When: March 11 Where: Montrose Magpies vs Wigtown Wanderers What: An ex encounter Warnings: None?
The sun was shining and the air was crisp, the perfect Scottish day for a Quidditch match. But it was not, in Gabriel's opinion, one of his finest. Viktor had caught the Golden Snitch, certainly, but when he had the Magpies had only been up by twenty points. A mere two-goal lead! Against the Wigtown Wanderers! A win was always good, but he felt ashamed that he hadn't performed better and by the time his feet touched the ground he was already feeling ashamed that he hadn't saved more goals.
He was not given an opportunity to wallow, though. Once he'd guzzled down some water and secured his broom away, the team were ushered up to the WWN's box where there were a couple of sponsors watching the match today, along with higher-ups from the network. Gabriel knew how important this sort of glad-handing was to the team, but he would rather hit the bar.
This feeling was reinforced when the first person he locked eyes on in the WWN box was none other than Tracey Davis.
