"Careful what you ask for, I have a lot of pictures," she warned in an affectionate sort of voice. She was well aware that most people didn't like to be set down with albums and stories. But Quin, who had virtually no pictures of herself after age 8, liked to document her children's lives on a way they'd one day be able to look back on, hopefully with fondness. She laughed softlt. "He fell asleep on the couch with Felix partway through. It was adorable."
And yes, she'd taken a picture.
"Yes, it's rather all over the place, but she's really very good for her age," she said with a quiet sort of pride. She couldn't help but brag on her daughter just a bit. "I heard that the muggles have this chalkboard paint? I was thinking of doing one wall in her room with that."
She grinned happily at the sappy look on Hannah's face. "I'm so happy you figured it out. You too seem so wonderful together." She didn't really know the man, but he seemed really great. "You never know. The timing might not have been right before. Maybe you were meant to wait."
