"I've more in my workshop, and I'm headed there after this. So please." Dora was just a bit paranoid and prepared, and there were things she often needed to get through the day or the week. Only what she really needed though. She knew to carry more meant to court abuse and she was trying very hard to keep away from that. She'd done so well so far, really, except for the alcohol, honestly.
She couldn't remember precisely how this had started either. It had kind of gone pear shaped in an unexpected way, and NOra was probably going to kill her later this week. She reminded herself to stock up on scotch and chocolate, just in case.
She was quiet for a moment, playing with the charm bracelet rather than her usual green bracelet. "Do you know," she said dryly. "I don't think Roger even knows who I am? Granted, I've been in and out of the country a lot over the years, but I'm not certain he'd be able to pick me off the street." Perhaps she was wrong, and he could. She might be.
She sipped at her tea contemplatively, and then her smile flashed, genuine and warm, lighting her up a bit. "Thank you. And we will all do dinner soon. I just need to get schedules together." Her smile grew a bit lopsided but no less genuine. "I know. It just had to be said, that's all."
