Luna had officially started her busy schedule. She was mentoring under Rolf during the day, working towards earning her Masters before she would be opening the school this summer. Well, technically before the trip with Michael that’d happen just before the opening of the school. She still had to set dates but she figured that was for once she was closer to opening the school and finishing her Masters. She had also started pouring over the books that Hermione had given her for the school opening. Somewhere in all of that she was still finding time to spend with Michael. Her favorite part of the day was probably when she’d be studying at night, seeing the lamp she had light up that Michael was touching his own lamp or lighting up her lamp to let him know she was thinking of him, only to see her’s light up in return. Those were for the nights when she couldn’t find time to see him.
While Luna knew that Rolf cooked lunches and had his own space above the Beastiery, which is where she had lunch on Monday. Today though she had wanted to get a little extra reading in so she had hopped over to the Leaky Cauldron for lunch. It wasn’t far from Rolf’s shop so she had walked the short distance. Currently she was seated at a table, one of the Muggle school books open on the table in front of her while she ate a tuna melt. She had worn one of her longer dresses, as were her favorite when having to work with the animals. In an enchanted pocket that was always warm and extended far larger than it looked, was little Sunny fast asleep after a long morning at the clinic.
She had come to the Leaky Cauldron for lunches before, usually while trying to get things together for the school so that she could find a space and all sorts of things. Thankfully all of those worries have been covered for her, thanks to the Ministry. She was a bit nervous about it but the fact Hermione was the liaison made her feel better. Hermione wouldn’t let the Ministry take advantage. Luna was used to Hannah not being there however, typically her friend had her shadowing at this time of day, so she wasn’t expecting to see her. If she’d known Hannah was in fact there, she would have made a point to find her to say hello. She knew they’d both been busy and had missed each other.
