Re: Lavender & Hermione & Open
"Hopefully sooner rather than later for you and Cormac," she nodded, a small smile on her face. Growing up she'd always assumed that she'd have kids, that it was simply something that was a given for her. But as she'd gotten older-- and as Ron continued to play the part of a fool, naturally-- she wasn't as certain anymore. She'd make a terrible stay-at-home mother, after all; she had none of Lavender's pleasant, bright temperament, and she'd undoubtedly have to find a man that would be willing to do the majority of the parenting between the two of them. That would be a challenge in and of itself. In some ways, she envied Lavender in that respect, the ability to prioritize her personal life in certain ways.
Meanwhile, Hermione was entirely wrapped up in her work, a soft laugh bubbling up out of her as she took a sip of her champagne. "I'd have to find another old text in Ancient Runes that was poorly translated in modern times! And then I'd have to forget about sleeping again," she laughed, shaking her head mostly at herself.
