Re: Quintella and Lancelot and Open
He had been watching the whole time and he still had no idea what she had done to get them to the corner. He was smiling brightly though as she adjusted his tie, not watching what she was doing at all but watching her face with a bemused expression. She would get him one that was charmed to stay there and be comfortable, wasn’t she sweet? He’d never wear it, especially if he would get moments like this where she would adjust his tie. It was just a nice intimate moment that he wouldn’t trade for a charmed bowtie. He just chuckled softly, shaking his head. “Teddy’s better at this than I am, I tend to go without ties more often than not. This seemed like a classy affair so he told me I had to wear one.”
When she called him dashing, and since they were in a corner off the dance floor with, he assumed, no eyes on them, he leaned in and stole a quick kiss. “Thank you but it may end up lost before the night is over.” He chuckled softly as his hands moved back into her’s and back to the dance floor. He would have stopped in the middle of the dance floor and potentially knocked someone over. She was a lot better at all of this than he was.
“I did finally get that debate together, I didn’t realize I didn’t have it all together. It was all in the same place though. I was thinking I would owl it over to you this week, let you see if I’m up to snuff.” He was actually excited to show her some things he had wrote. He was debating writing a book of his travels and adventures, but that was a conversation for another time. He was looking forward to exchanging writings with her.
