Re: Quintella and Lancelot and Open
Lancelot wouldn’t pressure Quin into saying anything of the sort to Harry if she didn’t want to. He didn’t know if he’d mentioned it was Harry Potter, some people seemed to get star struck just by his name. He’d know later when they stood with Teddy and Harry.
“I just had to be sure.” He smiled a bit wider because she was blushing again. He wanted so badly to steal a kiss from her just then but he was still feeling those waters. Sure, they’d been on a few dates but he was being a gentleman. She was a lady, she even acted like a lady. It was a rare thing for this day and age. He was doing his best to respect her wishes and moving at a slow pace for her. She still had a small one on her hip, he knew she’d appreciate the pace. He was, however, fully intending to steal a kiss at midnight.
Then she called him handsome as well and he gave her a bright smile. “Why thank you.” Then, because she’d mentioned he looked nice, he was reminded of his tie and he tugged at it again, his hand momentarily leaving her hip so that he could do that, trying to loosen it again and causing it to end up more crooked and almost falling out of the bow that he’d been able to get it in. He had never bothered to put any sort of spell on his bowtie so that it’d stay all night. He hated them and had intended to get rid of it long before now. He’d yet to do that though. “I hate these ties. It was Teddy’s idea. I’m just glad that you think I’m up to snuff.” He said with a teasing smile.
