For a second Calypso had been sure that Theo was going to tell her that he had to tell Blaise. She would have been a bit upset but she would have understood. When he implied he’d keep it from Blaise, so long as Blaise didn’t ask him out right, her entire face lit up. Something about her had softened somehow over the past few months. She completely blamed Theo and Kermit, they were the only real big thing that had changed lately. Well, them and Ginny but she didn’t touch that subject often.
“Thank you so much, I’ll repay you somehow. I understand though, you can definitely tell him what’s up if he directly asks.” She lifted the little green kitten up again though, “Do you want to hold him? He’s really sweet.” Sometimes, when he wasn’t attacking her ankles in the bedroom. He did cuddle so well though, always curling up against her stomach as she read in the sunroom. It was probably her favorite kitten activity. So far no one had noticed her slipping off to do it, thankfully.
And then Calypso got the urge to spill her guts to Theo. He was always so nice, he was always so helpful, and he was family. “I think I want to date Ginny Weasley. I haven’t kissed her yet but there’s something there…” She sucked in a breath, “It’s incredibly stupid. She’s been having fun here in Italy though. Maybe it isn’t completely doomed.”
