"I haven't heard anything about what they're saying but I expect they'll blame the purebloods no matter what," Anthony said with a grimace. "Best look out for that pureblood on your team. You know they'll look at him since he's been working closely with the wards. They'll say that he's a pureblood who has used his position and your good nature to sabotage the Ministry. And if they decide that he's going to be their patsy, there's a good chance that not even you will be able to do anything to save him."
He ran one hand down his face. Stephen's suggestions were more likely than he cared to admit. If the Ministry found an effective way of getting people out, there was more than a fair chance that they'd just evacuate all the Muggleborn and halfbloods and leave everyone else.
"Best find an answer then," he said pointedly. "Or the whole thing will be taken out of all our hands."
