Katie was enjoying herself. She sang with ease, her voice nowhere near as deep as the original singer’s, but she fell into the melody well. The words rolled off her tongue easily and she smiled all the while. “And all these dreams I saved for a rainy day / they’re finally coming true / I’ll share them all with you / now we hold the future in our hands.”
