She always felt amused when people said they liked any kind of music. It wasn’t that she didn’t believe them—obviously it was true—but Katie always found that she went through phases. One week she’d be in love with jazz, the next she’d be into hip hop. It just went in cycles.
Katie’s smile brightened when he mentioned eighties music, and she swung her legs back up on stage and clapped her hands together excitedly. “Eighties!” She said, jumping back up to her feet. “Awesome. I do love a good 80’s song.” She braced herself against the piano and tapped the top of it with her fingers. “Surprise me!”
