Tonks snorted in amusement. He was clearly an unselfish son. She liked him. Teddy could stay. In fact, the more she began to think this might be real, the more okay she was becoming with it all. Sure, her parents weren't here and Remus was nowhere to be found and they were in a strange place without any explanation, but she liked Teddy. Although, that could be the master plan.
"...so... what do we do now?" she asked a bit lamely. Being the Auror and the adult probably meant she should be the one with the plan or at least the pretend confidence to keep Teddy calm, but she wasn't exactly sure how to do that.
"I mean... I guess we could stay here. Or go exploring to see what kind of place this is," she suggested. It felt like an alien world, but less futuristic. It was all dingy with no flying cars or shiny silver wardrobe. If this was an alien society, it was a disappointing one.
