Tonks would have been amused by Teddy's reaction if she hadn't been so bloody confused. Though, seeing him out of the corner of her eye made him smile in an eerily maternal manner. He was a cute kid. And definitely her's. She'd tried to convince her mother that aliens had made her dress dirty when she'd played in the mud with the boys. Andromeda didn't buy it, but it had been worth a shot at the time.
"Well, we can't let them placate us," she told him. "I demand oreos or they'll receive no cooperation from me!" No, seriously. Tonks could probably be won over by a bag of oreos right now.
She tucked her wand away and went to examine the cabinets closely before moving to cupboards below the sink and stove. Those were also well stocked with pots and pans for the cooking that Tonks really couldn't do anyway, but it was a nice thought.
"Weird," she commented, frowning. This was feeling less and less like a dream and more like real life. But that wasn't possible, right? "I don't get it. Their plan is a masterful one..."
