Tonks really had no idea that Christmas had come early for her son. His face made it look like it had, but she wasn't exactly sure why. It wasn't like she wasn't around all the time, right? She had to be. She wouldn't just leave her son a whole bunch, even if her job dictated that she had to. She'd find way around it. His happiness to see her just meant he loved her and that was a good thing.
Tonks lifted an eyebrow at the dog, almost challenging him to say she wasn't legitimate. Even though Tonks still wasn't sure if she was. A mum? Her? And with Remus? As exciting as that was, she could imagine Remus' potential panic attack at that news. Then again, she had no idea how old he was.
"Theodore? I named you after my dad!" she exclaimed. Of course, he already knew that. Probably. It was all new to her, though! She was allowed to be excited at the fact that she'd named him something good instead of Prometheus or something. She pitied any child named Prometheus. "Um... it's nice to meet you, son? I guess you've already met me, but this is my first time."
This was one hell of a dream. She'd have to tell Remus when she woke up!
