His stare was mildly uncomfortable, so Tonks countered it by staring back. She still wasn't sure what to make of this kid. She was mildly distressed, but she was more distressed at how not distressed she was. This wasn't a normal occurrence, so there was no reason for her to be having such a freak out-less conversation with him. Somehow she was holding it together, though. And Remus was his father! She wasn't sure if that made him more real or more fake, but whatever. The 'I knew it' would just have to play silently in her head for now. Maybe this was just a weird dream and she'd just have to play along for a bit.
"Yellow with orange spots or teal with purple zigzags?" she asked. Well, if she was going to go along with the dream, she might as well go all out. Maybe she'd figured out how to lucid dream and she got to talk to people at will. This was actually sort of cool if she thought of it that way.
