It was really not fair to force him to answer these questions. Tonks was fairly aware that he couldn't be older than thirteen, so asking difficult questions of someone that young just wasn't fair or right or anything. At the same time, she had to know. Tonks had lived on her own since joining the Auror program and she didn't get why all of a sudden her son was living with her mother.
