Tonks was now legitimately confused. Because of everything. "And I still think I get to choose whether or not you keep the dog. I mean, me or Remus. And Remus is fond of dogs. I definitely know this."
She was still petting Little Bear, but she was looking up at Teddy curiously, suddenly very aware that he was changing the subject and not answering her question.
"Wait... hold on," she told him, standing up. "What's going on? Where am I when you're staying with my mum and why is she making choices?" This suddenly sounded very bad to her.
