Teddy smiled brightly when she said "Impressive". Impressive! His mother thought he was impressive!
This whole adventure wasn't nearly exciting as he'd hoped and his hyperness was winding down without any excitement to fuel it onwards. Not to mention that he hadn't eaten since last night and was beginning to starve. Closing his book-- he'd write in it later, he decided-- he sat it on the table and grabbed the box of biscuits to eat before he sat down as well. He examined them closely before shoving one in his mouth. It was harder than he'd liked but it was edible.
"I guess not. Must be an inter-dimensional rift or vortex. This isn't earth, but it's not an alien planet, either. We're in another dimension." he said through the biscuit, pulling the explanation straight out of show he'd watched yesterday.
Teddy was caught off-guard by the question. Not because it was surprising, but because she'd taken so long to ask it. He'd figured that their cabinet adventure had pushed them past those questions. Though, now he wondered if she'd gone along with his alien theory just to be nice. He debated telling her, but since he hadn't started fading from existence yet he probably wouldn't. "7th of April, 1998."
