Remus didn't understand the things going on inside of the other version of himself's head. He didn't understand and he was trying to remind himself that he didn't have the same factors in his life to make him act in a similiar way. He had a support system and he had a family. They were what mattered most to him in all aspects of his life. He had dedicated so many years to trying to restore his family to its full capacity, after all. Perhaps the younger version simply did not understand the value of it yet. He was not sure. He did know that trying to deduce what was going on in his younger counterparts mind was far too much of a headache in his very honest opinin.
It was easier to try and think of a solution for the matter of Theodore. The boy, though he wouldn't say it, appeared to have dreams that were being unfulfilled and, dare he say it, crushed. Or that was the impression he had of the events. Remus remembered Harry as a child. It was not that long ago. He remembered with fondness and he remembered how to act around children. The fact that in someways this boy was in fact his own child, sort of, only fuelled his ambition to find a solution. The hardest part of the matter was not truly knowing Theodore well enough to know what he wanted or to fully know the boundaries. Due to this, he intended to engage the boy in conversation but would not force him to interact if he did not want to. He, at least, believed Teddy had interest in his company. After all, he did not shut him out.
He hadn't the foggiest idea of what he could do for the afternoon with Teddy but he had it settled in his mind afer talking with Victoire and Teddy the night before, as well as Susan, that he was going to see the boy that evening. He thought perhaps the best thing was to get to know one another better. He made a note to himself to try and see Nymphadora later in the evening, as they hadn't spoken much since the full moon (and they certainly needed to clear up a matter or two), but for now his focus was on Teddy.
He stepped up to the flat where Teddy lived with Nymphadora, lugging quite a few things with him. He had a portable record player in one hand, the cool retro looking kind that folded up into a suit case, with the record that Lily had found him tucked tightly under his arm. In his other hand was a grocerer's bag full of several various items. With one final breath, he knocked up on the door. "Hello?"
