Sometimes, even Grant can be romantic. Who: Grant and Bronte Where: Avarice II When: Friday night, July 23
Grant found himself, tonight, to be feeling a little less playful than normal, and actually... just thankful to have a certain blonde werewolf in his life. Maybe it was the part of him that was finally growing up, and just seeing what was in front of him. Regardless the reason, he undid his tie, looking a little unkempt but charmingly so, and approached the bar, where Bronte appeared to be talking to one of the bartenders.
He waited silently for her to finish, not wanting to interrupt her or annoy her. While normally, he LOVED annoying her... as I said: tonight? Was different.
Bronte conversed a few minutes more with the tender before realizing that Grant had come into the club. After another moment of business talk the blond stepped out from behind the bar to make her way over to Grant.
"Well this certainly is a surprise." She said with a light smile and soft kiss placed to her fiance's cheek.
"I have to ask: is it totally and completely wrong that my main reason for being here was to take you out to the dance-floor and make every man here, and probably half the women, completely jealous of what I got?" He gave a playful grin there, not even making a secret out of how bad he was eyeing her up there. Think someone missed her? Totally.
"You're not going to embarrass us both by dancing the way you did at Ben's wedding, are you?" Bronte asked a bit skeptical of her fiance'. His child like antics could erupt anytime and anyplace. That was something Bronte had learned early on into their relationship.
"No... I was thinking more along the lines of you showing me just how much sexy grace you got in that bod of yours..." He waggled his eyebrows at her, taking her by the hand and attempting to lead her towards the others dancing. "I hope you aren't waiting for me to do something ridiculous. Because for once, I'm not in that kind of mood, and I'm afraid you'll be sadly disappointed."
Bronte made no protest when Grant reached for her hand to lead her away from the bar and toward the dance floor. "Just when I think I've gotten you all figured out, Grant Kellerman you surprise me yet again." Fingers wrapped lightly around the man's hand as Bronte followed him willingly out onto the dance floor just as the song switched over to one more of her liking.
Grant pulled her close as they got on the dance floor, holding back a laugh as he KNEW that, if she wanted, she could throw him around like a rag doll. "I'd think by now you'd have realized that I'm just FULL of surprises..." He whispered into her ear, tips of his fingers sweetly stroking the small of her back.
"I'm slowly learning that." She said softly once he had her within his arms. Bronte let her arms glide slowly and gentle around the man's neck with her head resting lightly against his shoulder. "Never lose that." She added in a tone that was barely above a whisper.
"I think there's two things I can guarantee I'll never lose, Kid." He winked playfully at her and nipped at her chin. "My love of surprises, and my love of you." He decided to throw this last part in, even though he'd sworn he'd never tell her: "I must, to still be here after Ben threatened to kill me. Yeah. He told me if I ever hurt you, even a slight, tiny bit, they'd need dental records to identify me."
"Ben was being generous," Bronte smirked lightly before catching the man's lips in a tender kiss. "If you had ever hurt me not even dental records would help in identifying you." And before Grant could respond to her teasing Bronte leaned up once more with a slip of a hand into her fiance's hair as she kissed him softly and lovingly.
"We keep this up and I'm gonna have to take you back to our place and do SEVERELY impure things to you. Seriously. I mean, we're talking things that would make angels cry." Oh jeez. Ever get the feeling sometimes Grant honestly just talked to hear himself talk?
"Wasn't that your original intent, Mister Kellerman." Bronte responded. "To take me away from this place for a night of impurities."
"Well... as the kids say, DUH." Grant winked at her, leading her towards the door. "Let's go wake the neighbors... this is gonna be FUN."
