Hanging Out
Who: Patience and Gwen, with an appearance by Wes
Where: Gwen and Wes's Home
When: Feb. 27th, Afternoon
"WES!" Gwen yelled, as she walked into the living room. "I'm gonna use the big TV for a while, ok? Kinda wanna watch Star Wars on a TV that isn't the size of basketball."
"Do what you want with it!" Wes shouted back from the study. He was reading through some new books that he had purchased recently, so he was planning on being in there all day unless Narcissa came over and dragged him away, which was likely to happen before the night was over with.
After borrowing Pat's car (she still needed to get a damn ID and driver's license soon), Patience headed over to Gwen's and, after parking the car, knocked on the door. "GWEN!! Open up! I know you're in there!"
Wes wasn't going to get ANY reading done, was he?
"WES!" Oh god, Gwen... give it a rest! "Nevermind the TV! I'ma go bullshit with mah girl PK!" She ran to the door and swung it open, arms wide open. "What up my main bitch???"
It seemed as soon as Gwen said that, some oddly loud Coltrane started to flow out of the study. Apparently Wes likes Jazz. Who knew? He *did* know that those two would be loud as a literal war together, though, and felt the need to drown it out.
Patience threw her arms around her best friend. "Not much. Stole Patty's car so that I could come over and see MY main bitch," she said with a grin, walking inside after wrapping Gwen in a hug.
"You and Pat doin' good? Is he back to being all happy and stuff? Nobody that well hung should be depressed for long." Oh. Lovely, Gwen. Seriously.
Patience snorted. "Oh yeah, we're doing great. Like, he gets paranoid sometimes that I'mma dream or somethin'. Apparently other!Patience really did a number and a half on him, huh?" She was still trying to accept that there was another version of her out there who WOULDN'T want to be with Pat. Seriously? "Not gonna go anywhere, though."
"Well... just TRUST me when I say that my love for Blake is the ONLY thing keepin' me from RUNNING to you guys, especially with you seemin' all yourself again. Not that Demon!Patience isn't damn hot too... but you... you're exactly like you were back in Sunny D." Gwen smiled, just seeming thrilled to have another chance with her best friend.
Patience smirked. "That's because it would take pure love to keep you away from the hotness that is moi," she said playfully. Hey, she knew she and Pat were both smoking. "And that's because, before I got here, I *was* in Sunny D, babe. I didn't know WHAT the hell happened for a little bit. I thought I was constantly tripping BALLS or something."
"Oh man.. you've missed out on some GREAT shit that I bet Pat hasn't even thought to tell you about..." Oh what an evil grin she got there... was Gwen planning on blowing Patience's mind now? You bet your ASS. "Wanna hear what your bro's been up to?"
"Oh I've been DYING to hear what he's been up to," she admitted. "Is he still with Mere?" She remembered them being all serious before, but god only fucking KNEW who he was doing now. He was a little PIMP, after all.
"Oh hell no. Mere's like... just another of the small army of us who have become enamored with someone in the Bale family. No... now he's dating this perky, hyper little blonde heiress. Yes. HEIRESS. Little bastard's gonna be fucking RICH. Oh, and before her? He was dating Dawn Summers' SISTER. Chew on THAT."
Sadly, Patience was only dimly aware of the 'Bale' family, knowing that a set of siblings had owned the Bronze. "Ash got an heiress? AND dated Buffy? Damn...I really do have a stone cold pimp for a brother."
"Oh yeah, and we're all convinced an otherwise gay woman wants his cock. So yeah. PIMP!" Gwen cackled, shaking her head.
Patience started cracking up. "DAMN. Definitely a pimp. Takes after his big sis then." Damn did she miss Ash. She really needed to call him soon. Bite the proverbial bullet.
"We gotta go clubbing soon. Like old times. Raise some hell together." Gwen practically bounced in her seat, grinning.
"Now THAT sounds like a goddamn plan for the ages," Patience said with a grin. She was finally ready to start getting out more. She didn't want to admit it, but she was every bit as afraid that Pat would disappear on her as he was afraid of her doing the same.
"God I missed you. Don't ever vanish on me again, got it, skank?" Oh. Lovely.
"No intention of ever doing so again," Patience said, giving her friend another hug.
