Movie Night
Who: Jordan and Jessica
Where: Jordan's Apartment
When: Saturday Evening, January 22
"Okay. We've got a choice between Ghost, Armageddon or Ransom." Jordan offering the choices to Jessica when she entered the living room from the kitchen with a large bowl of popcorn and two chilled bottles of beer. The two had been seeing each other casually over the past couple of months and Jordan was now wanting to move things that one step further. Which was why she extended a movie night invitation to Jessica. It would be just the two of them in a more relaxed setting then being out in public on a date.
"I'm going to say 'Ghost'." Jessi said with a big grin. "Swayze is fantastic. Ransom is just Mel Gibson yelling about wanting his kid back, and Armageddon.. well... its kinda romantic, but anytime I see Steve Buscemi, it kinda kills any butterflies in my tummy, you know?" She patted the seat on the sofa next to her, just sort of... watching the other girl. She couldn't help it: somehow, just LOOKING at Jordan had become a favorite hobby of hers.
Jordan set the popcorn and beers down on the table and then removed Ghost from the small stack. The disk removed from its case as she walked to the tv and inserted the movie disk into the dvd player. "Ghost it is." Jordan stated with a smile as she settled on the couch next to Jessica.
"Mmm. This is my favorite part of ANY movie." She said cutely, snuggling into Jordan with a bit of clinginess. "Really. It's my FAVORITE part." Well. Looked like SOMEONE tended to get a little lovey, hm?
Jordan smiled softly at that leisurely wrapping an arm around the other woman's shoulders. "We definitely should do this more often." Jordan commented back giving a light kiss to Jessica's cheek. She could easily become accustomed to nights like this where it was just the two of them.
That was the cutest thing about Jessi, although it tended to cost her a LOT of relationships: she was clingy to a fault, and tended to... not exactly believe in the concept of 'personal space'.
Jordan lowered her head to rest on Jessica's shoulder just as the beginning of Ghost actually started. "This really is the best part to watching any movie." And it was a good thing that Jordan had seen the movie before because within such close proximity to the other woman she didn't think she'd view the movie all the way through to the end.
"If I get too clingy, or overbearing, or anything... Please tell me?" The redhead said with a slightly embarrassed laugh. "I've scared off FAR too many people just because sometimes my brain doesn't grasp the concept of 'personal space', you know?"
"I'm not that easily scared off, babe." Jordan told her with a kiss to the other woman's cheek.
"Juuuust making sure." Jessi said with a roll of her eyes. "I mean... at least I can recognize my own weaknesses, right?" She laughed, sighing as they watched the movie. "Omigod. I don't think Demi Moore was EVER more beautiful than in this film."
"No one, not even Demi Moore, compare to you, baby." Jordan told her with a slight tip of her head to kiss lightly at the other woman's neck.
"Mmm. I dunno..." Jessi said, trying to joke around a little in spite of her own swooning. "Rockin' the buzz-cut in GI Jane? So butch but SO hot..."
"Too manly for me." Jordan whispered sitting up a bit as she caught the woman's chin with the tip of her finger. She leaned over then to catch Jessi's mouth as she turned the other woman's head slightly, and in her direction. She could handle only so much talk concerning a butch looking Demi Moore when she had someone as hot as Jessica sitting there right next to her.
"...ohmygod." Jessi breathed with wide eyes after that kiss. It was something out of a movie, and took her breath away. "Suddenly... Not really caring about the movie..."
"Not when there's something much more interesting to do." Jordan continued with a grin and then moved in to kiss Jessi again. Yes, this was definitely better then watching a movie. Especially one she had already seen before.
"You know..." Jessi blushed, cutely enough unable to meet Jordan's eyes as she said the next part, "We've been seeing each other long enough that... I, er... I wouldn't feel like a total slut asking you if you wanted to take this to the bedroom..."
"Baby, you are far from being considered a slut, and I think that would be a good idea as we'd be more comfortable in there then continuing this little make-out session on the sofa." And with that Jordan stood up from the couch and reached for Jessi's hand.
