Intriguing
Who: Tabitha and Layne Frost
Where: Deuces Wild Casino
When: Friday Night, Sept. 17th
Tabitha walked into the casino after what had been a long day and night of work. She had the next two days off from both her jobs (the peep show during the day and dancing at night), and all she wanted to do was sleep, but she had darker urges that had sprung forth with other plans. She wanted to meet someone, anyone, that could pull her mind away from her own darker thoughts. She wasn't sure why that led her to a casino, but here she was just the same.
Looking dapper as always in a black and white tuxedo, the bow tie loosened, and a glass of scotch in his hand, to most people Layne Frost would look like a typical young playboy. Not unless you got close enough to see his paleness, or to feel that there was no heartbeat beneath that cold skin, did one pick up that maybe he wasn't altogether... human. No... the 'young' owner of Deuces Wild was actually a several-hundred year old vampire... one that, while he enjoyed the business he ran... also took joy in reveling in his dark nature. And that was obvious by the devilish sneer on his face as he walked through the casino, quietly watching the customers.
She wasn't sure who exactly she was scanning the room for. She was looking for someone, someone pale. It was all she had to go on, for times like this. She usually did this in clubs, or, in a pitch, a bite parlor (although she hated those), but tonight it seemed that a casino was calling out to her.
His eyes fell upon Tabitha, and immediately sensed something about her. Something... lost. Self-destructive. He could read it in her eyes, the look of desperation and defeat in them. And he loved it. Sick fuck that he was. Walking over to her, he clasped his hands behind his back, and gave her a polite nod. "Welcome to Deuces Wild... anything I can do for you tonight, my darling?"
She felt the slight chill from his hand even through the thin fabric of her shirt, and inwardly smiled. Just what she had been looking for. She hoped it wasn't just the air conditioning. "Oh, I don't know," she said, looking up at him with a slight smile. "I'm sure I can come up with something."
"A woman who's straight to the point, and doesn't care about seeming coy. I like that. I'm Layne... and who might you be, dear?" He asked, looking at her like a fat guy staring down a porterhouse steak.
Quite frankly she didn't give a damn if he gobbled her up and left her dry in the morning. Whether or not she lived through the night was part of the fun, she supposed. "Tabitha," she said to him. "And it's no fun to be coy when you know what you want."
He took her hand, bringing it to his cold lips with a lopsided grin, and winked to her. "Of course... you understand that truthfully... I could likely 'have dinner'..." oh, the puns, make them stop! "with almost any woman here... what do you have to offer that should make me drop them all and choose a woman I literally just met?"
"The same reason that you walked across the casino to see me," Tabitha pointed out to him. "True, you could have a quick bite from anyone here, and they probably wouldn't fight you too hard on it." Depended on the meal in question, actually. "You could actually get a regular meal out of me, even discrete and quite." She shrugged. "If that's something you're interested in, of course."
Well then. The girl was definitely attractive enough to make regular feedings... a tempting offer. Definitely worth at least a try, yes? "Then come... let me get you a drink. Least I can do, hm?"
Lucky for him she was clean, too. Even in her sleeveless outfit, it was obvious that there were no track marks or anything that would lend itself to her being a carrier for anything of the like. "I'd like a drink," she said.
