Momma and Pappa Bear
Who: Georgina and Tom
Where: Georgina's Home
When: Sunday, Aug. 2nd, Afternoon
Georgie, as anyone who actually knew her called her, was still getting everything ready for when her 'grandchildren' (which, by the way, was incredibly weird still, coming from Neely) arrived. She wasn't sure what the hell was going on with that, other than they were from some defunct future timeline, but she was just happy to have grandchildren to dote on. OK, so they were, like, sixteen or something, but that wasn't going to stop her from spoiling them rotten, all the same. She had kept bedrooms kind of plain for them, and let THEM decide exactly how they wanted them set up, and now was putting away groceries because she remembered, if her children were any indication, they were going to literally eat like ravenous wolves and eat everything that they could get their hands on.
"Yo! Georgie!" Knocking on her front door was, well... the man she was once married to. And talk about an odd couple. Thomas Bale was as far from being like the beautiful, classy, statuesque blonde as could be. He was fairly short, muscular, covered in tattoos, and, well... LOOKED like he could end your life with his bare hands. "The man of your dreams is here..."
Georgie rolled her eyes, wanting to beat her head against a wall briefly when she heard that voice. For as much as she STILL loved him, she kind of wanted to kill him whenever she first heard that voice. "Unless you're George Clooney, that's false advertisement!" she called back out before going over to the door and answering it.
"Please. Like you even go for pretty boy bitches like him." He smirked, knowing that yeah... she totally still dug him. "Of course, if you don't WANT to hang with my hotness and get the latest scoop on the kids..."
She rolled her eyes as she let him in through the door. "Alright, give me the scoop on these kids, so that maybe I can personalize those bedrooms instead of just giving them blank canvases."
"Well, first of all..." He said, walking in with that charming grin Brandon and Brennan inherited, "you only gotta make room for one. One of 'em... Bastian, I think, is staying in LA for now. Don't worry, I only know cuz I called Neely to pester her about going to a Dodgers game with her while I'm there and she told me they just found out." He reached over and playfully smacked her on the ass. "So, ready for our little road trip to get Blake? Me and you, together again?"
"Bastian decided to stay in LA?" Well, at least that meant that she could cut the food budget down a little bit. Always good. She jumped a little when she popped her on the ass. "Yes, ready for the road trip. The two of us, driving to LA. And that's ALL that will be going on on this trip."
"Yeah yeah. You say that now, but wait till the first time we pass a Super 8." Jesus lord. "Neely might have your looks, but thank god she got my personality. Shit."
If she rolled her eyes too much more at him, they would probably fall out of her head. "Aren't we just hopeful today?" she asked. "And so cocky, too. When are we supposed to pick them up?"
"Well, we aren't due for another day or two, but I figured we'd stop early and surprise Neels. Get to meet our daughter-in-law and all." He grinned, that slightly crazy smile that for SOME ungodly reason she always used to love.
"Sounds like it could be fun," she told him. "It's too bad that we didn't get to go to the wedding." It had kind of been spur of the moment, though. They hadn't really had the chance to go.
"Sorta makes me think back to when we got married. So spur of the moment that our parents didn't even get to come." And just when it sounded like maybe he was being sweet... "Yeah... Only people coming that night were us. Over and over again."
She sighed. "Every time you sound like a real person, you have to ruin it with some sort of sex talk," she said, turning away so that she could put up some more groceries.
"Who said I'm ruining anything?" He asked with a cheeky grin. "I bet we got time to pound one out before we leave..."
She smacked him on the shoulder. "Is that really all you think about?" she asked him.
"...have you MET me?" He asked with a snort. "And you'll be proud of Brandon... He sent me a picture of the girl he's dating. GOD is she hot! That's me boy!"
She decided to drop it for the second. "He did? Did you bring it? What does she look like?" She hadn't met Brandon's girlfriend yet, either.
"Check it." Tom laughed, pulling out a picture of Brandon and Catherine together, Catherine sporting bright pink hair. "She's gotta be a fireball in the sack. I knew Brandon would pick a good one. KNEW it."
"That's insanely gross to think about," Georgie pointed out to him. "Seriously. She is pretty, though." She looked right past unconventional hair and all.
"I remember when we were younger.. I used to try getting you to get some tats. GOD that woulda been hot." Funny enough, while in his mid-40s, Tom talked like more of a kid than his own children. "Hey... If we get bored in the car we could always see if yer head still fits under the steering wheel..."
She sighed and shook her head. "You keep that up and you're going alone, with only your hand to keep you company," Georgie pointed out to him.
"Yeah right. You can't get enough of me. S'why we still get together after being divorced for 13 years." Cocky son of a bitch, wasn't he? "Now come on. Get yer hot little ass out to the car."
She grinned. "Actually...no. You can go on your own. I'm sure you can handle it JUST fine..." She turned away from him in order to get more work done.
"Oh come on! Neely's expecting you to come too!" He exclaimed, laughing. "Why you bailin'?"
"I still have to finish getting this place ready," she told him. "Plus I might kill you before the end of the ride, so it's better for everyone if I just stay here."
"Come onnnn... We're two adults here. We can go, meet Rachelle, maybe get busy on the way..." Oh god. He didn't just call himself an adult after those comments...
"You're only an adult in body," Georgie pointed out. "That doesn't apply to the mind." She pointed to to door. "Now go before they think we're not coming at all or something."
"Hrpmh. Fine." Oh god. He actually almost POUTED there. "I think I'll welcome Rachelle to the family formally and make Neels happy..."
"Alright, go for it," she said to him, already half-shooing him away. "Tell them to come up here and visit soon."
