"I don't think I would mess with the Lost Girls complaint department if I were you." He teased.
"There has to be some lingering in there." He offered optimistically about the brown sludge's content. He wasn't actually positive what was in the stuff, but maybe the man would get a placebo effect if Cat could sound convincing enough. His expression opened with a surprised smile at the man's Spanish. It wasn't wholly uncommon that someone else could speak it, but it wasn't often that he was able to speak it with anyone considering that his own brother rarely used it.
"Good idea," Assuming that the plumbing was working. He turned to the old hand washing sink and pumped the foot petal. A tired sounding trickle of water guttered out of the faucet and over his hand, but it was well water and at least it was cold. It eased the burn for the moment. He's had worse. He turned back to the customer, looking at his hand a moment before raising his eyes.
"Yeah, of course." He gave a warm laugh. "There aren't many rules like that around here anymore. I haven't seen you around, are you new here or just passing through?"
He probably should have left the guy alone, a lot of travelers didn't take kindly to some nosy kid. Cat had been raised to talk to everyone and be comfortable around strangers, it was a habit that was hard to break even considering the dangers of their time.
