"Plenty of people like the naked cats," Gian commented. He wasn't one of those people, mostly the naked cats freaked him out, but he did also know that lots of people liked them. His sister had even considered getting one, but Gian suspected that had been more to do with his dislike of them than his sister's enjoyment of naked cats.
Gian somewhat vaguely remembered Nico's backstory now that it was retold to him, but he didn't say as much, instead just nodding. Gian had also played at school - which Nico obviously knew since they'd both been on the Slytherin quidditch team, even if some years apart - but unlike Nico he had had to stop. Gian knew better than to say as much, though, making people feel awkward was not something he particularly cared for. "It's clearly worked out well for you," he said instead.
