Nico gave it a thought, because he wasn’t really an animal person. He had an owl because that was a logical animal, one that served a purpose. “I don’t think an owl would like being in a handbag, but they’re supposed to be wise, so in terms of asking questions it might be good. Otherwise, maybe a cat? So if anyone bothered me, it might bite them.”
He shifted forward with the queue as it moved. “I didn’t know if people had specialties with that, like only doing rings or something.” He certainly had a specialty, wouldn’t be good at playing out of position, but he didn’t know if other jobs worked that way. “What does magical jewellery do to make it different?”
