Takeaway Wednesdays was a tradition that neither Cormac nor Morag were very good at up-keeping. Given, that was mostly because Cormac and Morag were pretty terrible at keeping up any traditions. For people who did jobs that required regular training, neither was particularly good at regularly doing anything else. But as Morag had finished her training today, she'd realised that it was a Wednesday and it had been ages since her and Cormac had a takeaway together. She assumed he'd be in, because it was mid-week and whilst it was also Harry Potter's birthday, Morag somehow didn't think Cormac was going to attend a party (if there was one).
"I went with Indian," Morag said as she started taking the boxes out of the bag, casting a quick spell to get the plates sorted for them. "And don't worry, I got you extra poppadoms," she told Cormac before he could even ask. Even if they didn't do this regularly, Morag had enough years of experience to know exactly what Cormac wanted from basically any takeaway place she could find.
Once she'd unboxed the food, Morag went to the fridge to get herself a beer. If Cormac wanted one, he could get one himself. "Have you got a race on Saturday? Dad's training up some new flyers, it's their first performance on Saturday if you're free and want to come," Morag commented as they took the food through to the dining room.
