Tracey tried her hardest to keep her face neutral, but was sure a slightly sympathetic and maybe even disproving look crossed it when Blaise mentioned his mother finding another man. This made number...? Tracey wasn't even sure anymore. While it didn't matter to her what the woman did with her own life, she knew that it bothered Blaise, which in turn bothered her. She chose not to comment on it at the moment, however.
Her face brightened at Blaise's second piece of news. "Congratulations. That's quite an honor," she told him. "Do you have any ideas for them yet?"
Before she could respond to his return question, the waiter arrived with their orders. Tracey placed her napkin in her lap and took a sip of her tea before responding. "Oh, it's about as exciting as yours," she joked lightly. "I work, I go home, I meet up with friends occasionally." She smiled across the table. "But I want to hear more about these Gobstones."
