Gabrielle got the same drink as him, figuring the woman working there would know which was best, and she gave a quiet thank you to Lee when he paid. “I am from Marseille,” she said proudly, smiling at the thought of back home before taking a sip of her drink, pleased with how it gave her a brief moment of cool in all the heat. “Eet iz very sunshine but not always ‘ot.”
