Who: Andromeda and Ted Tonks Where: The tavern establishment Ted was walking toward When: Backdated to Sunday night What: A reunion full of FEELS
Ted had no idea what was going on. Dora had said something about them all being trapped in a "place" but he didn't know what that meant. He said Andromeda would explain things to him but he didn't know what "things" were either. He'd been living day to day with a few comrades, and there was no sign of any of them anywhere. Why were Andromeda and Dora here? And Remus, and apparently his grandson? Everything was so confusing and it had his head spinning and his stomach in knots. Was this all real, or was it an elaborate trap set by the Snatchers who no doubt had been on his trail since the night he left? But that was his daughter's handwriting, and she was claiming his wife was right there in the building that was only a few strides distance from him. If that was true then he had to see her. He had to find out for sure even if it was a trap.
Being apart from his family was the hardest thing he'd ever endured. It was worse than when he and Andromeda had ended their relationship while still in school. He thought of them everyday, and wished desperately that he could make contact with them but he knew it was too dangerous. Ted was not a solitary creature. He needed to be surrounded by his family and he needed even more to be able to interact with them, show them he loved them. Andromeda and Dora were everything to him. And now apparently he had a grandson who would also have claim to his heart if he could see him.
He'd been so cautious up to this point, but he didn't know what else to do other than trust the Dora handwriting and go to the tavern. Ted hurried to the door and walked right in. He scanned quickly for his wife.
