Who: Edgar and Tonks What: Setting up the Wireless Where: Wireless office When: Sunday afternoon Rating: PG
Edgar had gotten a nice surprise that morning when he'd opened his journal to see how everyone was fairing, now that the journals seemed to be functional again. His job had changed from Editor to Wireless Host. He'd been basically working part time there anyways, he enjoyed the job, it was a lot of fun, and folks seemed to like him as a host, so this was great news. Especially after everything they had gone through. Edgar might be one of the few who wasn't terribly disturbed by the ordeal. In some ways it had been similar to his job, finding his way through old, decrepit places filled with curses looking for some final goal. At least this place had been blissfully curseless. And his sister and niece were fine, if not shaken. Shaken was ok though, that could be recovered from much easier than physical injuries. Or death. Death was pretty hard to recover from. Although the fact that they had lost a few of their number did shake him. How easy it appeared to be for any of them to simply disappear. He only hoped they returned to where they were supposed to be. Edgar left his new place and headed for the new Wireless office. This new town was pretty strange, but interesting. Although he made a point of not walking too close to the edge of the cliffs all around town.
When he arrived at the Wireless, it was already open, so Tonks must be around. He stepped into the room and looked around, but didn't spot her immediately. "Dora?" he called out, before he spotted a bit of pink under a nearby desk. "What are you doing?" he asked, pulling a chair over and sitting down, waiting for her to come out from under the desk. "Need help getting everything working?"
