Benjy was both surprised and thankful to have had the visitors he'd had during the day. It wasn't that he hadn't expected to the anyone, but he assumed everyone would be recovering and such on their own, or anywhere but the hospital wing if they could help it. Seeing his roommate approach and plop down next to him, with gifts, was just another pleasant surprise.
"Thank Rowena," He said at the sight of the items. "She won't let me go back to sleep yet and I feel like I'm going mental just sitting here. Thanks, mate. I appreciate it. You thought absolutely right." This would help him a great deal. Benjy grabbed one of the magazines and casually flipping through as though inspecting it. "You're the best."
At Julian's question about his stay, Benjy's nose wrinkled. "A day or two. Monday night or Tuesday, I think? She won't decide." He frowned. "Hopefully not more than that, I don't think I'd survive." He put the magazine down in his lap. "How did you manage?"
