"Pretty good," she answered casually as she returned the hug. She had been a bit surprised, but certainly didn't object. Maybe he was just a huggy person. After a moment she withdrew, straightening her shirt as she did so. "I managed to get some pictures of the aftermath of that fight. It was damn scary." She frowned a little, recalling the scene. "But don't worry- everyone was done duking it out by the time I got there, so I'm fine."
She saw him glance around and glanced around herself. It was small, but nice enough for a motel. A small bed in the corner, a table and a couple of chairs were tucked off the side opposite of a large dresser that was topped off with a TV and microwave. Two suitcases sat against the wall, though they were empty as she'd already put everything into the drawers and closet. Some pictures and books were on top of the nightstand next to the bed. It was clear after a glance around that she wasn't going to be leaving for a while. "It's over there," she said, pointing at the computer perched on top of the table. "And I can't get the stupid thing to turn on." She scowled at the machinery with disdain.
