Charlie chuckled with him, being careful so as not to jar her shoulder as she laughed. "You'll have to take me there sometime," she said, still trying to suppress a few giggles. "It sounds like fun."
It felt good to laugh, and for some reason, she felt rather glad that she had made Kamal laugh. She didn't usually make people laugh, and knowing that she had made him smile felt nice. Why was that? She didn't feel so strongly about it when she made other people smile. Maybe it was the Advil...
She glanced at Kamal, and she suddenly realized something odd. "What do you do for fun?" she asked suddenly. It hadn't occurred to her up until this moment that she really didn't know very much about him at all. Well, she certainly intended to fix that.
