Oh, great. In his momentary shock, Kamal had managed to trigger Charlie's protective mode. And her worry, as usual, was unnecessary. He wasn't at all ill, and he wasn't even that wet. He did feel a bit chilly, but he was used to that. A higher than average body temperature was a side effect of his pyrokinetic ability, and that just equated to feeling cold more easily. He gently batted her hand away from his forehead, then got to his feet and intercepted her when she tried to stand. He placed his hands on her shoulders in an impulsive and less than subtle encouragement to sit back down.
"Charlie. Stop it. I'm fine. I'm not sick. I wasn't even outside that long. Just sit down, okay? Jesus...I'm supposed to be the one taking care of you, not the other way around."
