Charlie was glad he didn't call her on her terrible lie. She really just wasn't up for anything like that at the moment. She wanted to go back to sleep, but she knew it would be good for her to move around, at least a little. If she did nothing but sleep she'd feel worse when she finally did try and get back on her feet.
Now that she was really waking up, she noticed that Kamal was rather wet. Was it raining? She listened for a moment to realize that indeed, it was, and heavily. No way was she sending Kamal out in that. "Yes," she told him firmly. "Please, come in." Her tone clearly stated however, that it wasn't an option. She turned and walked back inside, fully expecting him to follow and shut the door behind him. "Do you want something to drink or eat?" She asked as she shut off the TV and picked up her discarded blanket. Aside from the remote on the floor, her apartment was now spotless.
