Quinn frowned at the cigarette. Why was he feeling grouchy about that? Smoking never bothered him. His frown turned into a smile when his teasing worked. He pressed his lips together. Teasing Kamal a bit was always fun.
He paused, they’d made it to his apartment building. There were stairs and ones inside too. Quinn rarely took elevators, maybe he would.
Quinn swore.
Then he blinked. He’d sworn out loud. He never swore out loud, he always kept it in his head. He was tempted to glance at Kamal, see if he noticed. Maybe he hadn’t noticed. Why did it matter anyway?
