"Be honest - you've been saving that line." The missing Red Ranger teleported in, landing between the villainess and the Rangers still on their feet. He didn't recognize her, but clearly she needed to be taken seriously. In the moments he'd delayed, she and her pet had already killed a civilian and dropped Charlie. God, Hank hated dealing with wild cards.
"We've got a couple unknowns, gentlemen," he barked through the Rangers' internal channels. "Nic, Quinn: keep the dog busy. If it's not engaged, it's going to attack more civilians. Ethan, check on Charlie. If she's in shape for it, get her 'ported out of here. I'm covering you."
Hank wanted to pull his blaster on this woman. Hell, he wanted to drop a Zord on her, and if he were still in the Army that's exactly what he'd do. Unfortunately, that's not how Rangers operated. Instead, he struck a defensive stance.
"Doubt you'll come quietly. What is it you want here?" Hank inched closer to the mystery woman. "If it's trouble, you're in luck."
