Lindsey felt his stomach warm at the touch, the arm around him somehow much more soothing than he thought it might be. He allowed himself a pause, collecting his thoughts, wondering at the way Jake was making him feel... "Thanks," he finally managed, blue eyes scanning Jake's face curiously. "You'll have to come with me then, man. I ain't lying when I say it's the best fuckin' thing Angel Grove's got going for it."
Jake chuckled, "Now there you're wrong! I assume you mean nightclub dancing. That's good, but I've always had a better time helping the kids." He paused and smiled, raising an eyrbrow at Lindsey. "Of course, it could be the company I kept. After all, what fun is dancing without a decent dance partner?"
"You just ain't been out with the right guy," Lindsey answered simply enough, as though it made total sense, and had been completely obvious from the beginning. "So you're comin' out with me the next time I go. I demand it. No arguing or anything."
Jake held up his hands, "Ok, ok! I give. I will go dancing with you." He smiled and waved when the waiter came to the table. "Did you want anything else? I'm full now." Jake would gladly go dancing with Lindsey, and he was happy the other man was 'demanding' he go.
