"I was trying to be nice!" Jake said laughing. "You're fit enough. Yes, you're skinny, but you could be all boney, but you're not. You look good." He stopped talking so he could shove food in his mouth, a bit annoyed at his words. Oh Jake meant it, alright. But he was embarassed, he didn't want Lindsey to get the wrong idea. Of course, maybe he would get the...right idea. "You should work out with me sometime. Or at least, maybe a little. It'd be fun to have someone with me."
Lindsey grinned, loving the compliments and how they just kept right on coming out of Jake's mouth. He could sit there and listen to him all day at this rate... "Thanks man... I'm no tank like you, of course..." He sniggered and tried a bit more of the food, enjoying everything he put in his mouth. "What kinda working out would you wanna do? Like... running and junk or like... other kinds or working out?" Lindsey winked.
No tank...it actually made Jake laugh- not good, since he was sipping tea. Luckily he didn't spit it all over. Shaking his head, Jake cleared his throat. "No, but it wouldn't look good on you. You have a good thing going." Jake raised his eyebrows and blushed. "Running and junk, I love that. As...for other stuff.." He cleared his throat again and looked away. "It all depends." Jake looked at Lindsey, "I don't 'workout' with just anyone. And I don't like to 'workout' with someone only once. Not my thing."
Lindsey grinned when Jake sputtered over the tea, amused by the reaction. He shifted in the seat happily, keeping his eyes on the other man. "I don't like to just... 'work out' only once, either," he responded, though his tone was laden with sexual tension. Lindsey wasn't one to miss social cues, not when they were directed right at him like this. "Making it more of a... routine sorta thing... I could easily see that..." He took another piece of sushi, eating it while never letting his eyes leave Jake's, very much on purpose.
Jake listened intently and slowly grinned. "A routine is good. Keeps you in shape, among other things." He smiled and ate some more food- he was hungry and so far Lindsey was getting more than he was! "But we can talk more about that later, in a less...public setting." Jake finished his tea and siginaled the waiter for more. "Have I told you yet I like your glow?" He asked softly when the waiter had left. Jake did like it, he liked how you could know when Lindsey was happy, and how it -without punning- lit of Lindsey's amazingly pretty face.
"When do we get to go to this less public place?" Lindsey responded, coming back with it immediately. He grinned and wiggled a little, bumping against Jake's body on purpose. He was excited and enjoying himself, and if he hadn't been wearing the small bit of technology to hinder his natural glow, he'd be lit up head to toe. Speaking of his glow... "No, you hadn't said that... but that's really sweet, Jake. Thanks..." Lindsey leaned in as close to Jake as he could get away with, his lips brushing the other man's earlobe softly and he whispered, "You gotta see how good I glow when I'm sated..."
