Quinn shrugged at the name of an author he hadn't heard of before, "Might have to try that then."
His lips quirked at Lindsey's joke. There was nothing wrong with nerdy in his book, but jokes were better. He glanced up at the clouds, reflecting that it really was a nice day to have good company to keep. Then Lindsey mentioned he might paint his nails. Quinn grinned, "What color?"
He ran his thumb over the few chips of polish that were left on his own fingers. When he'd unpacked after visiting his family he'd discovered one of them had traded out his very dark green and black for a neon green. He hadn't bothered to replace them yet and was almost tempted to see how neon looked.
