When: Mid December
Where: Headquarters
Summary: A Meeting
Complete/Incomplete: Complete

Friedrich Köhler slouched his way down the hallway at the Schutzstaffel’s Paris headquarters, sucking the flavor from his last peppermint. His uniform was askew, buttons not all done up right, collar half-folded under the jacket, but he was in a hurry. At least he’d rinsed his mouth, yes?
That was the big one. That was the one he was generally reprimanded on – that and his nails. He wasn’t supposed to be seen bloody. He was supposed to be a polished, civilized soldier.
It would be a lie to say he didn’t resent, on some level, the deception. He understood the reasoning behind it full well, and generally agreed that it made the concept just that much more terrifying, but it still irked him that he had to go bloodless and neat when in reality that wasn’t him at all.
He was to give the commander a report on…something; he wasn’t sure which he was reporting on, but he’d remember soon enough. Soon as he got the smell of blood out of his breath and was able to get to the office, then he’d try to remember.
He double-checked his fingers before heading through the door; they were clean, reddened with scrubbing and still smelling – faintly, to his enhanced senses – of blood, but nothing was visible and that was really all that mattered…
He opened the outer office door without knocking, straitening his collar as he did, but not really paying any attention to anyone already in the room.
