who: Padma Patil & Parvati Malfoy
when: June 23rd, Evening
where: Malfoy Manor
what: Padma has a hard time and needs to vent to her closest confidant.
It took a lot to get Padma Patil particularly angry. She was generally the calm one, the girl with a level head and someone who knew exactly how to handle a situation when it was presented to her. She thought rationally and didn't let her emotions get the better of her when set forth with a difficult task. All in all, she was good about keeping her head. Yet tonight she was livid. Her hands were shaking as she let down her hair, the dark locks resting on her shoulders as she stared up at the impressive Malfoy Manor. While she had never been particularly keen on her sister's choice of husband (though he had grown on her quite a bit), she had to admit he had an amazing house, enough to rival the size of their own home that the Patil girls had grown up in. Up the steps she went, ringing the bell as she attempted to stand still on the front steps. She expected enough to be greeted by one of the house elfs, shown into the front room while the little creature went to fetch her sister.
Staring at her reflection in the window, Padma forced herself to take a deep breath. It seemed silly that, of all things she was getting angry about, this was it. It was supposed to have been a normal evening and now, after storming out of her parent's home without any sort of goodbyes to them, she felt foolish. But Padma Patil wasn't about to back down from what she had done. Standing up for herself and what she wanted was more important right now, even in the light of everyone's magic seeming to vanish. Her head turned to footsteps, lips pursed and words fell out of her mouth before her twin got a chance to speak.
"Something has to be done about Mum and Daddy and this ridiculous notion they have that I need to be married off right away to some Nice, Rich Indian Boy!"
